So Wed is rest. Thurs should be the main resting day but for all my Unique Store thrifters, ya'll know what day that is: Member's Discount Day!!! Haven't been in a thrift store in a whiz-zile. I think Thursday would be the day. Plus, I have specifics of what I need to get. Sequin. Sequin. And more sequin. May it be in form of a blouse, dress or vest. Shoot, even earrings. Me no care. I just want sequins. Yeah. That's pretty much it.

Going to sleep is for losers. I kid...or not.
Was just on FB tending to my farm. That's right, my farm. F^2, not too long ago, sent me this invite to participate in "Farm Town." Just like the rest of the masses, I quickly clicked "Ignore" and kept it moving. But oh no, that didn't deter F^2. She's a persistant one, that woman. She insisted that this was the best creation on Facebook since the "Like" feature. Let's talk bout the "Like" feature a bit. When it made its' debut, I'm sure most people didn't know what to do with it. How was it meant to be used? But it's the easiest thing, like, ever! Just a couple of months ago, you see a photo. You think to yourself, "Hey, that's cute. But do I really want to type that "that's cute"? Just be wasting my time. Next photo." But now, with the "Like" feature, you can see a photo, think to yourself that it's cute and click "Like" to signify that yes, you think it's cute but with a thumbs up sign (which I find myself doing in real life ever since the feature came along...so cheesy). Bam! Laziest shit ever created. But as usual, some people have started abusing the "Like" feature.
Status: Ugh. This summer is going by too fast!!!
*thumbs up sign* 1 person likes this
But why? Are you saying that you like the fact that the summer is going by too fast? Are you saying that you like the fact that the person can't really enjoy her summer because it whizzing by right in front of her? Me, personally, I would've asked that person who clicked the "Like" feature to explain themselves. Seriously, all that person had to say was "Yeah, I agree." or "Damn, that's so true" or "Right!". Don't click "Like".
Status: I don't feel too good today. I think I have the flu.
*thumbs up sign* 3 people like this.
Once again, why? Are people just quick to click the "Like" feature without reading the status properly? So the 3 people that "liked" the status are implying that they think it's cool that this person has the flu? My goodness. Now, me having a sick sense of humor, I would've clicked the "Like" feature just to be an ass & amuse myself. But I KNOW those people weren't thinking on my level. They just clicked it just because. Losers.
Now, what the eff was I talking bout? Oh yeah, my farm.
Picture time!

Isn't it lovely!
Isn't it wonderful!
Isn't it precious!
Only a long month old!
I'm telling you guys, it's not a game. At first I was all apprenhensive like, "Whatevs. This is not for me." But once you get started, you can not stop. Kid you not. It's like you want to make it bigger and better and your own. I think I'll stop it right here, though. I've seen some other farms *coughs*F^2*coughs* that is just too large and too much going on. Also, it takes a while to upload. I just try to keep my simple and sweet. Like most of the other things I do in life.
Still not tired. Got a InStyle magazine waiting to be opened. Which reminds me, Katherine Heigl is getting a bad rep (she's on the cover, by the way). She's a beautiful, talented actress that speaks her mind. Yeah, at times, she takes it overboard but then again, isn't that what we want from our celebrites? Those who do not fear holding back their tongues? Especially from the females. And now that the media has one, they want to rip her to shreds. Typical of how fickle America is. Raise someone up only to knock them down. Shame!
I'm out like the a/c at my place. Hot like a mofo in a 110 degree weather sporting a floor length chinchilla.
4 remarks:
RR, you just KILLED me with those status updates and the 'like' feature. LMAO...you are HILAR!
Bwahahahahaha @ a mofo wearing chinchilla in 110 degree weather.
WTH is a farm? *blank stare*
But it's true, though. It kills me the way that feature is being abused. I don't think the "Like" feature likes the abuse, either. lol.
And not is "a farm" but Farm Town. I'm telling you, you're missing out on greatness!
OMG you just spoke my mind. It's like people don't even think anymore when they use the like button. Someone will say they're pissed and then others 'like' it. *Sigh*...this is what fb has made of our brains!
I would 'like' this post if i could!
PS: Thanks for stopping by my blog! Let me know if you have any questions or would like me to blog on anything specific!
Stay Happy& Healthy!
