Is it only me that realize that when we get older the year gets faster? Where are the years racing off to? Ugh. It was just yesterday January that I was here, wondering why my ass didn't go to Nigeria that holidays. Bored outta my effing mind. Y'know, similar to what's happening to me RIGHT NOW! Geez. I was not expecting it to be 2 years that I haven't been back home. 2yrs?!! That's a mess right there. Not gonna happen in 2010. That's for damn sure. Anywho, like I was saying, this year is just speeding on by like it's competing in some Nascar race with Jeff Gordon on the right and Danica Patrick on the left.
Today I was called a "black oreo". WTFace? (<-- for all my "Modern Family" fans out there). This person was like, "Yeah, you're a black oreo. Black on the outside. White on the inside." Once again, WTFace? It was amusing, though. I just laughed and explained to the person that really, it's not my fault that you're not open to more things (my nice way of saying, "It's not my fault that you're so narrow minded"). Be it music, tv, life in general. Meanwhile, I'll be over here not caring. Seriously, "black oreo"? What year are we entering in the next couple of days? 1980?
I realize that I'm very talented. Not trying to pat myself in the back or anything (cause obviously, I am) but I'm quite talented. Just thinking about it infuriates me cause I'm not proactive in a lot of these talents. I just let it waste on by. Shame!
Recently copped the new and improved Vibe magazine with Chris Brown on the cover. Great issue. Chris had a lot to say. Drake had a lot to say. Amber Rose had a lot to show...literally. Which reminds me, my favorite new Drake line is: "It's a celebration. Let's toast to the fact that I moved out of my mama's basement." L O L! That Drake. Gotta love him. He's witty. Listen to his lyrics; homeboy got jokes. Also, went to support both Chris Breezy and Lady Gaga. Can't wait to sit back, relax, and listen to some good music.
Stay tune for my end-of-the-year lists. Similar to what Entertainment Weekly does. And I'm gonna sice (exaggerate, hype for all my non-DC area folks out there) it with pictures. That's coming up next week. O M Gosh. Ms. Royal Reigns is actually going to bless her blog with 2 entries in 1 week? Yes. Yes, I am. I'm in the holiday spirit. Which, I should add, I was so not in up until now. I don't know why but I was not (am not?) feeling this holiday season. Even with my upcoming vacation next week, just not brimming with that holiday pride. *shrugs* Oh well. We'll see how I feel tomorrow morning.
I'm out like Diane Sawyer from "Good Morning, America". I'm gonna miss her. :o(
Sidenote: I've been getting some requests from my friends that I should start a fashion blog. I realize that I haven't really showcased my love for fashion on this blog. You guys know my love for music, TV ("Lost" is premiering in Feb 2010!) NBA (Carmelo, I'll be waiting for you in Dallas!). But not of fashion. Next year is around the corner. Got to start it off right! Probably, I'll mix it up a bit. Post a couple of pics of daily wear. Hmmm. We'll see. Baby steps. Baby steps.

Maybe a much needed hobby can derive from it. / And sorry, but your "bible" has been my haven for almost 6/7 years.
